What types of feedback are available?

There are three types of feedback that can be given or received on ObjectiveManager. All types of feedback are always confidential between a) you, b) the feedback provider, c) the feedback recipient's Reviewer(s):

  1. General Feedback - If you want to provide feedback that is not directly linked to any one objective, you can use the general feedback function
  2. Feedback for an Objective - Each objective you can see on a person's Objectives page allows you to provide feedback that is associated with that objective
  3. Feedback for a Competency - Each competency you can see on a person's Competencies page allows you to provide feedback that is associated with that competency

Note - There is a fourth feedback area, which is not included in the list above: Development Needs.

If a user wishes to gather feedback on a specific development need, they can request feedback. The  is listed separately from the other types of feedback because a user can only request Development Needs feedback from their Lead or Secondary Reviewer. No other users can be selected to provide Development Needs feedback.
