Linking to another objective
You can link your objectives to other people’s objectives or to plan objectives:
- Find the relevant person or plan
- Click on the objective that you want to link to
- Click Link To
- You can link one of your existing objectives or you can create a new one to link
- You will be returned to your objectives page
To view the other objective you have linked to, select your objective and click View Links
A lot of firms would encourage linking objectives rather than cascading, as the link creates a connection without the risk of an overloaded objectives page.
Linking an objective creates a more active connection than Following an objective, as your progress updates will appear on the other person’s objective and vice versa.
The person who creates the link is the only person that can remove the link if necessary.
