What are 'KPIs'?

Some organisations use Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) as quantitative measures of what people need to achieve (e.g. fees billed or utilisation). People are often assessed against these KPIs, so having KPI's visible on your objectives page is a great way of keeping them 'front of mind'. You may want to discuss and set targets with your Lead Reviewer/Manager for the year ahead.

The KPIs are pre-defined by your firm - sometimes this will include a Target and an Actual figure, but often this will simply be a Target figure for the current financial year.  Where the Actual figure is enabled, you are able to capture progress towards your KPI targets by updating the value in the Actual field.
